Some days back, as we were driving down from our home in the mountains, taking the last couple of hairpin bends, we were struck by a breathtaking sight of a rainbow.
What was very special and made us stop was that the rainbow was visible right across the sky in an unbroken 180 degree arc.
Now, while a 180 deg rainbow in itself is a remarkable sight, we saw another sight that was even more astounding: at one end, we could actually see two rainbows. And no, I'm a teetotaller :-)

The second arc is a bit more clearer in this pic
And it looked as if it was so close that we could walk up to it!
And beautifully nestled against the clouds...
Thanks for sharing. Your pictures made me pause a little and think about the rainbow, rains in green beautiful mountains. Something positive :-)
